The beginning

The first step in any change is taking responsibility for your life.

First visit

The first visit to the psychological office is aimed at establishing contact and gathering information about the problems reported by the patient.

Contact can end after one meeting or turn into a long-lasting process and it is always aimed at improving the quality of life of a person who comes to the office, helping to understand the symptoms and support in a crisis or treatment of disorders.

When should I go to a psychologist / psychotherapist?

  • when I feel fear,
  • when I have a feeling that I’m not myself,
  • when everyday life causes me a lot of difficulties,
  • when I hear, I see, I experience something that arouses suspicions from me or other people,
  • when I have obsessive thoughts, behaviors that I would like to change,
  • when I lost the meaning of my life,
  • when I’m not satisfied with my life, my relationship, my identity, my sexuality,
  • when something happened that I can not deal with.

During a telephone call, the psychologist initially recognizes the problem and proposes a convenient date for the session in the office.

Offer

I conduct psychotherapy for adults, adolescents and children.

I work in accordance with the psychodynamic orientation, which has its roots in psychoanalysis and is its combination with the approach of psychiatry.

The treatment is based on the therapeutic relationship that develops between the patient and the therapist during the course of it.

I help people who suffer from:

  • anxiety, depression, emotional problems, phobias, low self-esteem, problems in relationships, obsessions, compulsive behaviors, intrusive thoughts, problems with adaptation (new job, new place, new people), etc.;
  • thoughts, acceptance, sense of: sexual development, sexual orientation, gender identity, sexual relationships, sexual activities, paraphilias, atypical sexual interests;
  • sexual dysfunctions and disorders such as: erectile dysfunction, anorgasmia, painful sexual intercourse, premature ejaculation, lack of or loss of sexual needs, hyperactive sexual desire, compulsive masturbations, addiction to pornography, etc.

The introduction to therapy is the consultation stage, in which the therapist diagnoses the problem. The form of psychotherapy is adapted to the problems reported by the patient and his options.
